Which Sabre gets ownership of the nickname 'Reggie'?
- Andrej Sekera. He's been with the team the longer of the two, he gets it. (45%, 25 Votes)
- Robyn Regehr. He is the elder statesman of the defense corps, which has some priveleges. (33%, 18 Votes)
- Neither, as 'Reggie' doesn't make sense for either one (see my reasoning on this below). (22%, 12 Votes)

Loading ...It started when I heard Rhett Warrener (and possibly Jordan Leopold?) call Robyn Regehr ‘Reggie’ in interviews, and I haven’t been able to shake this VERY IMPORTANT question ever since. Many of you know I have a problem with Andrej Sekera being called ‘Reggie’, because the J IS SILENT in his name. But! Robyn Regehr’s claim in that regard is no better – Reg-ear is the G sound, not the J sound. This team, as far as I’m concerned, has NO Reggie.
Actually, not that I think about it, Silent J would be an outstanding nickname for Sekera. I think it shall be my goal this season to get that into common usage. Help me out!
If we start calling Sekera “Silent J” would we then start calling he defense partner Bob? (In reference to the immortal Jay and Silent Bob)
I was more worried about him being associated with Violent J of ICP to be honest.
