Daniel Alfredsson will play though, so that’s always bad news for the Sabres.
Jason Pominville said something in his post game press conference the other day that they can’t be afraid of the system, which is the first time it’s sounded vaguely scary to me. Hopefully the schedule never becomes that way.

I love that analogy. It’s everything my brain has been trying to mesh together but not quite understanding. Though Miller needs to stop those shots that come when the defense breaks down (or doesn’t show up, like last night), he cannot take sole responsibility when nobody is helping to protect the crease.
